Health on the Hill (May, 2017)

Dr. Hendi volunterred to provide skin cancer screenings to members of Congress, Hill staff, and to the general public of Washington, D.C. Participating with the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Hendi was thrilled to be involved in this year’s Skin Cancer Prevention Health Fair promoting awareness of skin cancers and surgical treatment with the Mohs technique.

American Academy of Dermatology Association at Capitol Hill- 2016

Dr. Hendi, along with 130 of his peers of the American Academy of Dermatology Association, took to Capitol Hill to advocate for policies that protect and enhance patient care. Attendees met with Members of Congress, Senators and key Congressional staff urging Congress to enhance access to care and treatment, and speed medical discovery through a sustained federal investment in research.

Road to Healthy Skin Tour – 2014

Dr. Hendi volunteering with “The Road to Healthy Skin” Tour in Arlington, VA on June 14, 2014. Dr. Hendi helped The Skin Cancer Foundation offer free, full body skin cancer screenings to the public. Dr. Hendi provided almost 30 full body skin checks to the Virginia community to lead in the fight against skin cancer.
